Job Title: Installer
POSITION SUMMARY:
Akers Signs is looking for motivated individuals seeking a career in sign installation and maintenance. As an Installer, you will play a key role in executing high-quality sign installations and ensuring client satisfaction. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to grow professionally, develop hands-on skills, and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sign Installation:
Safely and efficiently install various types of signs, including LED message boards, monument signs, banners, and more.
Follow project specifications and quality standards to ensure proper installation.
Use equipment and tools in a safe and professional manner.
Maintenance & Repairs:
Conduct routine maintenance on installed signs to ensure optimal performance and appearance.
Troubleshoot and perform repairs as needed.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the installation team and project managers to coordinate tasks.
Maintain clear communication with clients to ensure expectations are met.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations during installations and maintenance.
Ensure compliance with all local codes and permitting requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment related to sign installation.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Previous experience in sign installation or construction is a plus, but not required—training is provided!
WHAT WE OFFER:
Full-time position with consistent work hours.
Pay: $37,440 annually (based on $18 per hour).
